Is Ultimate Athlete Race accessible if you are not (yet) extremely fit?

Absolutely. We love seeing Ultimate Athlete push people to train harder and take on new challenges. If you’re looking for a more accessible way to get involved, the Everyday Doubles Category is a perfect starting point. You and your partner share the workload across each station — how you split it is entirely up to you, whether it’s 50/50 or a mix that plays to your strengths. It’s an epic way to experience the event together and help your mate cross that finish line.

Are there rules to the race

Yes — there’s a rulebook that includes the movement standards for each station. If you’re not yet able to complete all exercises according to those standards, please let us know. You’re still welcome to take part; however, your final time or score will be adjusted in the results to keep the competition fair for everyone.Penalties can be found here

I'm doing Mixed Doubles, what weights do I use?

The weights for mixed doubles will be lower for the females on the Dumbbell Snatches (10KG Everyday & 15KG Pro). Please see our "Format page" for more further information on this.

Can I bring my own food and drinks into the venue?

Food & Drink vendors will be onsite, however athletes and spectators can bring their own food and drink.

How long does the race take?

The average finish time is 40 minutes to 1 hour. There is no cut-off time. You can finish your race at any time.

Will there be podium ceremony for top finishers?

Yes! Our venue has great disable access! Should you have any specific needs, please contact us at admin@ultimateathlete.co.uk so we can ensure the best possible viewing experience.

When will I get my start time?

Your start time will be announced the week before the event. Depending on the number of participants per category, the schedule for the event day is created.

Is there a bag drop at the venue

Yes there will be bag drop located near the athlete registration.

What time should I arrive before my wave start time?

We strongly recommend arriving at least 60-90 minutes before your start time.
